JOE EXOTIC TO PRESIDENT BIDEN: SIGN THE FEDERAL PRISON OVERSIGHT ACT NOW

For Immediate Release:
JOE EXOTIC TO PRESIDENT BIDEN:
SIGN THE FEDERAL PRISON OVERSIGHT ACT NOW

Three and a half years later into President Biden's administration they finally pass the Federal Prison Oversight Act.  It now just needs his signature if they can explain his job to him long enough to get him to sign his name.

Something that was promised during his 2020 campaign and has gone to the waste side until three months before the election.

All while people have been dying from gross abuse of medical care, solitary confinement, poor diets and plain abuse within the federal prison system and why?

Because it is one of the most corrupt organizations within our government because too many politicians have an invested interest in making money from the prison system.

This bill will do absolutely no good unless congress and the Department of Justice hold the staff criminally responsible for bringing in drugs and contraband, stealing things paid for by the BOP and taking it home, destroying the facilities so friends and families can bid on fixing things, the abuse of inmates by depriving them of simple things such as hygiene material to bathe with, including no razor to shave, no comb your hair and no brush for your teeth.

Their favorite excuse when locking you behind a door is they are short staffed, and they have no supplies for you to be able to even care for yourself including no paper and no envelopes so you can contact the outside world.

Food trays in the BOP prison system do not even meet a kindergarten nutrition requirement for your child at school.  But a 300-pound man is supposed to live on it for 10-20 years and the calorie requirement is made up of cake and cookies because the BOP does not want to spend the money on a proper diet.

This causes a large percent of inmates to become diabetic and the taxpayer must continue to pay for medical treatment which is grossly under rated.

You would think we are putting people in federal prison in a third world county because the American federal prison system is so corrupt.  The Director should be held criminally responsible for the deaths of inmates due to medical neglect and abuse.

The system is so understaffed by people that do not give a damn that during my travel in March and April of this year in 14 days only one guard made a round to see if the inmates were even alive locked behind the door other than the required count time.

While I was in the Oklahoma City transfer center one inmate was found dead from hanging himself but only because no one made rounds checking on us.

A question I have is does the Prison Oversight Act protect the federal inmates being housed at county jails with federal contracts? Because most of the abuse I endured happened at a county jail while I was awaiting federal trial.  That specific jail houses over 400 federal inmates and those inmates need to be protected as well.

For too long has the federal prison system been able to inspect itself and cover up the problems without the public ever knowing what is going on inside.

Over 50% of the inmate deaths are from suicide due to being placed in the SHU (Solitary Conferment) with little to nothing to eat or drink, no enrichment and no hygiene products. Inmates are made to live like river rats in a 6x12 foot cold concrete room.

The American public has no clue that even a chimpanzee in America is required by AZA standards (which is adopted by nearly every state in America) to have a minimum of 20 foot by 20 foot = 400 square foot space and not allowed to be taken away from its social group.  They are NOT to ever be put in a solitary cage and must be provided 10% of its body weight in fresh wholesome food daily.

In the BOP, a human; your loved one, is only required to have 70 square feet to live alone for year after year with no other human contact and only 3000 calories a day made up of cookies and cake.  No fresh foods ever.

I was held responsible at trial for all the mistakes my zoo manager and veterinarian did, and I am doing hard time for it.  Why is the Director of the BOP and the wardens of each facility not being held criminally responsible for the actions of their staff or even the Attorney General for that matter?

The deaths and the lives to inmate’s innocent or not should lay on the shoulders of the people in charge.

My abuse has gone unanswered for over 6 years now and no one has been held responsible.

I can't wait for them to assign an Ombudsmen so complaints can start being filed. I have over 100 complaints ready for reports to be made.
